COVAL is the GCAA integrated approach “as integral part of its dangerous goods oversight responsibilities” to validate the competency of Dangerous Goods Training Instructor and Dangerous Goods Post Holder, to ensure they are competent in the function(s) they will perform prior to performing such function(s), due to the impactful role they play in maintaining the safe transport of dangerous goods by air.

All personnel delivering dangerous goods training in the UAE regardless of the function they are delivering the training.

  • • As applicable, holds a valid dangerous goods training certificate for “Personnel Delivering Dangerous Goods Training in the UAE” as defined in the Function In Tables “FIT 4.1.A or FIT 4.1.E” of Civil Aviation Regulations “CAR Part VI” or a valid Dangerous Goods Training Category-6 or Category-8 [Attach Certificate]
  • • Holds a current and relevant instructional skills certificate issued by a training provider either accredited or recognized by GCAA [Attach Certificate]
  • • Attach their CV, to verify the minimum experience requirements as per Subsection 4.9.6 of Civil Aviation Regulations “CAR Part VI” [Attach CV]
